The SEED board contains some nice extra hardware: 
  * 32.768kHz crystal 
  * 24C02 I2C EEPROM 
  * W25C64 SPI Flash memory 
  * Three leds 
  * Two switches 
  * Connector for LCD display 
  * Connector for SD-card

This is place for the I2C drivers in different flavours
